Paint USA - Campbell Elementary School
On April 20, our Rotarians were able to paint a 45'x35' map of the USA on the playground of the elementary school.  Our Rotarians love to bring joy to the young kiddos.
Welcome to our newest members of the Rotary Club of Katy
Record Weekend at the 2024 Wild West Brewfest!
Thank you for coming to the 2024 Wild West Brewfest. It was an excitement-filled weekend, and we hope you had as much fun as we did! The Rotary Club of Katy was able to raise over $135,000 and it could not have been possible without your support. To our brewers, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, and patrons, THANK YOU!

In 2022, we crossed over $1.20 million in proceeds from all previous WWBF  events, and our goal is to hit the $2 million mark by 2026, we currently sit at 1.35MM. Every dollar of proceeds is given back to the local community, and we are grateful that this year’s 11th event was very successful yet again. On Friday night our amazing live auction items included a Taylor Swift Era Tour Signed Guitar, a 5-day stay in a luxury home in Breckenridge, CO, 7 days/6 nights in Cabo San Lucas, penthouse Condo, FFA Fire Pit, signed items from our Astros and more! If you weren’t one of the 1300 that came, make sure to join us at the Launch Party next year.

The success of the Wild West Brewfest would not have been possible without the generous support of our sponsors who can be found on our sponsor page by navigating to our website! We could not do this without them and our Club, the Rotary Club of Katy!
Delivering over 4,000 pounds of meat to our community
This past Saturday, Katy Rotarians delivered over 4,000 pounds of meats that we purchased and got processed from Katy ISD FFA auction. Some of the organizations that received the meats were Katy Christian Ministries and Camp Hope.

Helping the Youth of today and future leaders of tomorrow.

The Rotary Club of Katy is proud to be able to support the youth in the Katy ISD FFA Auction.  Each year our club and a group of Katy Rotarians called Mega Stuffed combine funds to purchase as many animals as possible.  With the animals that we purchase, we process them and donate the meat to families in need, veterans undergoing treatment for PTSD and homeless food pantries.  Charities that benefit:  Katy Christian Ministries, Camp Hope and Hope Impacts.

Animals purchased and processed this year:  2 steers, 6 hogs, 11 goats, 1 lamb for a total of 20 animals

We are helping out 20 FFA students and we managed to have at least 1 from each of the 9 high schools represented!
Today was a fun day, as we were able to distribute money raised from our three fundraisers to different organizations.  Congratulations to the following organizations:

Read to Me
Katy Christian Ministries
Boy Scouts of America
Hospital La Vega
Hope Impacts
The ARC of Katy
Keep Katy Beautiful
YMCA
Operation Turkey
Katy ISD FFA
71 Rotarians from the Rotary District 5890 and Rotary Club of Katy had a blast at the Houston Astros Baseball game July 24.   Thank you to Jamie Corona for planning this outing.
Today was a glorious day!  All of your support and hard work from The Rotary Club of Katy paid off in over $71,000 in grant distributions to charitable organizations that serve our community.

The Rotary Club of Katy and the Mega Stuffed (rotarians) attend the KISD FFA Rodeo Parade and Auction.  Their sole focus is to purchase animals from the kids and have the meat processed.  Once processed, then we deliver them to local charities like the Katy Chritian Ministries and Camp Hope.  It is our a joy to fill their freezers with meat.
